Get ready to craft your own creative and funky cigar ring in this hands-on wax carving class! You’ll dive into the art of ring-making using essential tools like a jewelers wax, ring sizer, sand paper, and jewelers files. With step-by-step guidance from Lenora, you’ll learn techniques to bring your unique design to life. Plus, you’ll have wax models and examples to spark your creativity and keep you inspired throughout the process.

Once your custom ring is complete, we’ll send it off to our trusted casting company to be cast in sterling silver. Once we get it back, we professionally clean and finish your piece and mail it back to you! In about 3 to 4 weeks, you’ll have a one-of-a-kind creation to show off.

This wax carving class is held at Fleur Studio in Denver’s Baker Neighborhood. We will walk students through the in depth process of carving their own signet ring! Students will have the options to choose between various wax rings shapes to design their ring. Shapes range from cigar band, square signet and rounded signet. Students will familiarize themselves with wax carving techniques, and carving tools such as: a wax ring sizer, files, jewelers saw, millimeter calibrator, compass, straight edge, sandpaper and an alcohol lamp. We will use these tools to carve out the students' desired ring during this three hour class. Lenora will be hands-on in guiding you through the process.

Students will have the option to get their ring cast in brass, sterling silver, or solid gold.

We will send the final wax product out to our casting company. The turnaround time is approximately 3 to 4 weeks.
